Our teacher - Mr Orr
One of our favourite topics so far has been Ancient Egypt. We made cartouches with hieroglyphics and mummies out of plaster of paris.
Year 3 Lime went out in the playground to perform one of their favourite poems 'Fruit Picking' by Jack Ousbey.
Using straws and pipe cleaners to create 2D and 3D shapes.
An amazing pentagonal prism.
Working together to create unique 3D designs.
To help us use paragraphs in our writing, we decided to use Lego figures to model the key scenes from a story which we were writing.
Once we had made one model for each paragraph, we took photos of them using our iPads.
We then used the iPads and our photographs to write the final versions of our stories.
It was easy to remember to use paragraphs because of the photos we had taken.
We were really happy with how they turned out.
